3 Days Lake Mburo Horseback Riding and Camping Adventure

Day 1: from Kampala to Lake Mburo :You will be driven along Kampala-Masaka highway to Lake Mburo national park after breakfast. Stop over at Kayabwe equator for photos enroute. Proceed to Kiruhura district. Have a game drive as you enter the park. Check into your lodge and have lunch. Enjoy an evening game drive in the park after lunch. Dinner and overnight at Rwonyo campsite

Day 2: view game on horseback or quad Bike: Today after breakfast you will explore the park on horseback or quad bike. Possible sightings may include: impala, Burchell’s zebra, topi, bush buck, common duiker, oribi, Defassa waterbuck, Bohor reedbuck, buffalo, warthog, bush pig, roan antelope, eland and klipspringer. Have lunch at Rwonyo restaurant. After lunch proceed for a boat ride on Lake Mburo. View wildlife as they come to water at the lake. Other possible sightings are hippo, crocodile, Papyrus gonolek, blue headed coucal, southern ground hornbill and mosque swallows. Dinner and overnight at Rwonyo campsite.

Day 3: salt Lick: You will have breakfast after which you will walk to the nearby salt lick. View at least 4 different species as they lick the salty soil. Have another game drive in the park. After lunch exit the park and return to Kampala ending your safari.
