Day 1: Entebbe – Kampala.  Arrival at Entebbe airport Uganda). Your guide will be there waiting for you. Pick up and proceed to your accommodation in Cassia Lodge. Holiday Express Hotel

Day 2 : Kampala – Kibale Forest National Park :  After breakfast, drive  southwards, through the pearl of Africa  green  to Kibale Forest, lunch on your way, arriving in the early evening to your accommodation . Optionally: Take a walk in the surrounding area: – see monkeys and birds. It is also possible to make a night walk through the forest to see the animals of the night, like bush babies (both activities optional).  Kibale Forest is a spectacular jungle, with 13 primate species! Including chimps, baboons, black and white colobus, red colobus, grey cheeked mangabey and L’Hoest monkey. . Dinner, overnight in Chimps` Nest (Full board).

Day 3:  Kibale Forest National Park:  Chimpanzee tracking in the morning and take an afternoon forest walk to see primates and birds and willing to make another walk we can make a community walk in the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary as well. It is also possible to visit the local people or the crater lakes (all 3 activities optional).

Day 4 :Kibale Forest – Queen Elizabeth National Park :  Early morning breakfast , then transfer to the Queen Elizabeth National Park; have lunch enroute. Arrive in the late afternoon for a spectacular boat trip on the Kazinga Channel; the area is believed to have the highest hippo concentration in the world. See the large animals coming for a drink or a plunge. The boat is also a perfect platform to see birds up close. The largest number of lions is found here in Uganda; expect to see elephants, crocodiles, buffaloes and maybe leopards. Retire in Mweya Safari Lodge (Full board).

Day 5: Queen Elizabeth National Park – Ishasha sector:   An early morning Game drive, after a cup of tea  will reward you with a large number of animals  or optional Chimpanzee tracking in the Kyambura Gorge in the morning. Afterwards we drive through the national park to the Ishasha sector of the Queen Elizabeth National Park. Ishasha is home to the unique tree climbing lions.  Packed lunch. Game drive in the afternoon in search of the tree climbing lions. In Ishasha there are 4 prides of lions that climb the trees. Unique in the world! The other attraction of Ishasha are the Topis, not found anywhere else in this National Park.

Day 6: Ishasha sector – Bwindi Impenetrable. Today after breakfast, you will be driven to Bwindi Impenetrable. On our way we pass through interesting villages and have some breath taking views of the mountains. The Impenetrable is a matchless jungle, with many monkey species and the sought after Mountain Gorillas! Go to your Hotel in Muhabura Hotel (Full board).

Leopard2Day 7 :  Bwindi Impenetrable National Park : Gorilla tracking!!! Early morning departure with your ranger to search for one of the world’s most interesting and endangered animal, the Mountain Gorilla! You will spend one hour with one of our closest relatives. An experience you will never forget. Relaxing in the afternoon. It is also possible to do an optional visit to the local people or the pygmies.


Day 8 :Bwindi Impenetrable – Volcanoes National Park :  Breakfast, transfer to the Volcanoes National Park in Rwanda. On a clear day we can see the 3 volcanoes on the border between Uganda and Rwanda. It is possible to visit a pygmy village on the way (optional). Volcanoes National Park is part of the Virunga Mountains, covering 3 countries: Uganda, Rwanda and Congo. Together with Bwindi this is the only place in the world to see the Mountain Gorilla’s. Accommodation in Muhabura Hotel- full board.

Gorilla 5Day 9 : Volcanoes National Park – Kigali : Second Gorilla tracking. Or other optional activities: Visit the pygmies, visit the local people, go to the Twin Lakes, climb a Volcano, visit Dian Fossey’s grave, or do the Golden Monkey tracking. Transfer to Kigali afterwards. Make a city tour and visit the Genocide Memorial if time allows (all activities optional). . Bed & breakfast in Flame Tree Village.


Day 10: Kigali – Flight – Arusha (Tanzania): Transfer to the Airport for your flight to Tanzania. Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport in Tanzania. Pick up and proceed to Arusha. Mount Meru Game Lodge/Impala Hotel.

Day 11 : Arusha – Lake Manyara National Park. Transfer to Lake Manyara National Park, Tanzania’s most dramatically located wildlife area, consisting of a shallow but huge soda lake, at the foot of the Great Rift Valley’s western escarpment. Game drive in the afternoon. Lake Manyara is famous for its tree climbing lions. Dinner overnight in the Escarpment Luxury Lodge; situated on the edge of the Rift Escarpment . Mugunga Tented Camp.

 Day 12 :  Lake Manyara National Park – Serengeti National Park (Seronera). Today we drive to the Serengeti National Park. On our way we drive through the Ngorongoro Highlands, where we have a magnificent view of the crater. On this day it is possible to visit a Maasai Boma (kraal) or Olduvai Gorge (famous and interesting place where our ancestors have been found). Both activities optional. Game drive en route and in the afternoon in the Serengeti National Park if time allows. Dinner, overnight in Tortilis Camp, Ikoma Safari Camp.


Olduvai Gorge

OldupaiGorgeDay 13 : Serengeti National Park (Seronera). Full day safari in the Seronera area (Central Serengeti). It is also possible to make a balloon safari in the morning (optional). Serengeti National Park is a massive wilderness of 14500 square km and one of the best places in the world to see the Big Five! !


Day 14 : Serengeti National Park (Seronera) – Serengeti National Park (Lobo). Morning game drive in the Seronera area. Afterwards drive to the Lobo area in Northern Serengeti. Lobo is famous for its muscular lions. Gamedrive en route and in the afternoon.


Day 15 : Serengeti National Park (Lobo) – Ngorongoro Crater. Game drive in the morning. Afterwards we drive to the Ngorongoro Crater. Game drive en route. The Ngorongoro Crater, featuring one of the highest concentrations of game in Africa. Here you will witness an amazing spectacle of African wildlife, inside a self-contained world teeming with animals, with very good chances of seeing The Big Five! Dinner, overnight in the luxury Acacia farm lodge overlooking the Ngorogoro forest. Upgrade to Ngorogoro Sopa Lodge is optional.

Giraffe-National-Animal-Of-TanzaniaDay 16 : Ngorongoro Crater – Tarangire National Park. Today we enter the Ngorongoro Crater. Afternoon lunch at the Hippo Pool Picnic site. Game drive afterwards. In the afternoon we ascend the crater and drive to Tarangire National Park. Osupuko Lodge.


Day 17: Tarangire National Park – Arusha. Early morning game drive in Tarangire National Park. Transfer to Arusha afterwards. Tarangire gives high chances of lions, elephants, wildebeest, eland, zebra, hartebeest, oryx and many more. New Safari Hotel.

harte beestDay 18: Arusha – Kilimanjaro Airport. Transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your outbound flight . It is also possible to extend your trip and fly to Zanzibar.
