Day 1: Arrival: On your arrival at Entebbe international airport, you meet with our driver guide greet make introductions and then transfer to a hotel in Kampala. Serena Hotel Kampala, Hotel Africana Holiday Express.
Day 2: Mabira Forest : Mabira forest is the largest tropical rain forest in Uganda. It is located in the central district of Mukono in the east of Kampala the capital city. You will leave early in the morning with packed lunch and spend the whole day watching Bird watching /butterflies in this forest. You will return late in the afternoon to Kampala. Day 3 : Kampala – Budongo Forest : Early in the morning after breakfast, you will leave Kampala for Murchison Budongo Forest, drive through Nakasongola, Luweero via Masindi lunch en route. At Murchison falls Game Park you will take a boat cruise to the bottom of the falls while watching birds lining at the banks of the river. You will then continue to Budongo forest for an overnight and Dinner. O/N: Budongo Eco-Lodge (FB).
Day 4-5: Butterfly watching in Budongo Forest: You will set off very early in the morning with packed lunch for butterflies in the forest. For the two days in the forest, you will have experience of several butterfly species endemic to the Albertine rift valley region. O/N: Budongo Eco-Lodge (FB).
Day 6: Budongo Forest – Kibale Forest Park :After breakfast in the morning you will, take along drive south to Kibale forest in Fort Portal through local villages and astonishing view of tea plantation sceneries en route to Kibale forest park. You will explore nearby craters before going to your lodge for a rest. O/N: Sunrise Hotel or Chimpanzee View Guest House. (FB)
Day 7-8: Butterfly Watching in Kibale Forest : You will start the day with and early morning walk in the forest viewing butterflies in Kibale forest which is the favorite butterfly viewing destination in Uganda. You will also visit Bigodi wet land for butterflies and birds. It will take you 2 days in the forest before departing for Queen Elizabeth Park. O/N: Sunrise Hotel or Chimpanzee View Guest House. (FB)
Day 9 : Kibale Forest – Queen Elizabeth Park : Depart Kibale forest park for Queen Elizabeth, here you will relax and have lunch after which you will proceed for a boat cruise on Kazinga Channel where you will view several birds quenching up including various animals like hippos, crocodiles, kobs, buffaloes and elephants. O/N: Simba Safari camp or Mweya Lodge (FB).
Day 10: Queen Elizabeth (Kyambura Gorge): You will spend the whole day viewing butterflies, birds and chimpanzees in Kyambura gorge. O/N: Simba Safari camp or Mweya Lodge (FB).
Day 11: Queen Elizabeth – Bwindi Impenetrable forest: You will drive south west to Bwindi impenetrable forest. O/N: Buhoma community camps (FB).
Day 12- 14 : Bwindi Impenetrable forest : You will go for Butterfly watching in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest Park including Mubwindi swamp and Buhoma. Two days of butterfly watching in the forest. O/N: Buhoma community camps (FB).
Day 15: Bwindi – Lake Bunyonyi : Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi islands – traditional dancers, O/N Bunyonyi safari resort or Bunyonyi overland resort (FB).
Day 16 : Lake Bunyonyi :Spend the whole day viewing butterflies, small birds, Boat ride. O/N Bunyonyi safari resort or Bunyonyi overland resort (FB).
Day 17: Lake Bunyonyi – Kampala: After an early morning breakfast, leave Lake Bunyonyi for Kampala. Lunch en route. O/N Hotel Bougainviller or Pope Paul hotel or Hotel Africana (HB).
Day 18: Departure: – You will transfer to the airport for your flight.
O/N- Overnight, FB – Full board.
