Nairobi/Samburu/Abedares/Naivasha/Masai Mara/Nairobi and Watamu Beach Extension

The tour combines best of Kenya National Parks and Watamu beach. From unique vistas of rounded, rugged hills and undulating plains of Kenya National Reserve and Parks to the beach. After visiting major National Parks it would be ideal to extend with a beach tour. Watamu Beach is quite safe for swimming, walking and sunbathing. Long walks, swimming and sunbathing are a few of the activities you could do. You could explore the rock pools at low tide and find lionfish, brightly coloured crabs and see some of our coastal birds such as the whimbrel.

Day 1 : Nairobi – Samburu : Nairobi, city, capital of Kenya, in Nairobi District, situated at an elevation of about 1660 m (about 5450 ft) in the highlands of the southern part of the country. Youe will be met on arrival and transferred to Samburu National Reserve. Offers unique vistas of rounded, rugged hills and undulating plains. The mix of wood and grassland with riverine forest and swamp home to a wide variety of animal and birdlife, Buffalo Springs records over 365 species of bird. Game viewing and visibility is excellent: Reticulated Giraffe, Grevy’s Zebra, elephant, oryx, Somali Ostrich, hippo, crocodile, gerenuk, buffalo, lion, leopard, cheetah and hyena. Arrive in tme for your hot lunch at your hotel. Enjoy your evening game drive. Dinner and overnight at Samburu Sentrim Luxury Camp.

Day 2 Samburu :Full day of game viewing at Samburu National Reserve with your private safari car and safari guide. Full board, overnight at Samburu Sentrim Luxury Camp.

Day 3 Samburu – Abedares : Depart after your morning breakfast for Aberdares. Abounding with wildlife, unfettered by the more rigorous structures of the Kenyan national parks and designed to offer a charming blend of under canvas ambiance and uncompromising luxury, it has long been the preferred retreat of wilderness and safari lovers alike. One of only four private game reserves in Kenya. Full board, overnight at Outspan Hotel.

Day 4 Aberdares – Naivasha : Depart after your morning breakfast for Naivasha. Located just beyond Lake Naivasha. Famous for its natural hot geysers, eagle and vulture breeding grounds, visitors have the choice of driving, walking, camping, cycling and rock climbing within the park. Horseback safaris can also be arranged. Full board, overnight at Lake Naivasha Country Club.

Day 5 Naivasha – Masai Mara : Depart with picnic lunch boxes after your morning breakfast and transfer to Masai Mara National Reserve. The Reserve is administered by the local county council. It is probably the most famous and most visited reserve in Kenya. It offers breathtaking views (seen in the film ‘Out of Africa’, much of which was filmed here)an extraordinary density of animals including the “Big Five” and many varieties of plains game. Enjoy your evening game drive at Masai Mara National Reserve. Full overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge.

Day 6 Masai Mara : Full day of game viewing at Masai Mara National Reserve with your private safari land cruiser and safari guide. Full board, overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge.

Day 7 Masai Mara – Nairobi – Malindi : Depart very early in the morning and transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport to catch your fly 540 flight departing at 1245 HRS for Malindi to arrive at 1400 HRS. You will be met on arrival and transferred to Ocean Sports hotel. Dinner and overnight at Ocean Sports.

Day 8 – 14 Watamu Beach : Full day at leisure. Dinner and overnight at Ocean Sports.

Day 15 :Watamu Beach – Nairobi : Full day at leisure. You will be transferred in the evening to Malindi Airport for your fly 540 flight which departs at 1710 HRS to arrive Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, Nairobi at 1900 HRS. You will be met and transferred to Kenya Comfort Hotel. Overnight at Kenya Comfort Hotel.

Day 16 Nairobi :Transferred very early for your international flight back home.
