Day 1: Arrival – Entebbe: Arrive at the newly refurbished and modern Entebbe International Airport, meet your Driver Guide, and transfer to Kampala Forest Cottages / Sheraton Hotel / The Lodge for a welcome meal and briefing about your Honeymoon Holiday Vacation in Uganda and Rwanda. Day 2: Leisure Drive to Kibale Forest: Home to 13 Primates: Have breakfast at the Hotel and hit the road to Fort portal via Mubende. Expect lots of beautiful views of tea plantations, pine and traditional homesteads. After lunch at Ndali Lodge, we can relax at the Lodge, or take a walk to the crater lakes region for more wonderful views. Dinner and overnight at Ndali Lodge / Primates Lodge: Meal Plan Full Board

Day 3: Honeymoon Chimpanzee Tracking Excursion: Wake-up early and gather at Kanyanchu Tourist center for a briefing about Chimpanzee tracking. Take a guided walk through this fascinating forest, following the well-marked trails to track Chimps alongside other primates such as Colobus Monkeys, Mangabeys, Olive Baboons, L’Hoest’s Monkeys and Giant Forest Hogs among others, and over 350 bird species. Even though you may only rarely see them, the park is home to the largest population of Forest Elephant in Uganda, and is also home to Buffalo, Uganda Kob, Genet, Civet, Waterbuck and Bushbuck. Day 4: Kibale Forest National Park – Queen Elizabeth National Park – Honeymoon Launch Cruise
Have breakfast and then set off to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Expect lots of game viewing enroute. Set in the western branch of the Great Rift Valley, the park is incredibly diverse in the type of terrain it encompasses. Relax at the Mweya Lodge pool side as we wait for Lunch. Embark on afternoon Boat trip along the Kazinga Channel, famous for the highest concentration of Hippos in Africa along side other animals like Huge crocodiles, herds of Elephants and Buffaloes basking along the water shores, as well as 611 Bird species. The Boat provides a clear platform for photographs and observation.Dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge / Jacana Lodge / Simba safari Camp.

Day 5: Queen Elizabeth National Park Full Day Honeymoon game drives : Wake up early for a cup of tea or coffee, start a game drive along Kasenyi Trail in a comfortable open-roof 4×4 safari car to catch up with early raisers and predators returning to their hideouts. Return to the lodge for full breakfast, relax as we wait for lunch. Take another Game drive in the afternoon before sunset along the Mweya Peninsular. As dusk falls, we prepare for dinner and a good night’s rest.
Day 6: Queen Elizabeth National Park (Ishasha Southern Sector) :We begin this morning with a bush walk through the Maramagambo Forest. This is one of the largest forests in Uganda, and forms a habitat for a number of primates and forest dwellers. Due to its location, Maramagambo also has a high diversity of butterflies and birds. Our walk culminates in a visit to volcanic caves that are home to thousands of bats, and often, several reptile species. Later we continue to Ishasha in the southern sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park. After lunch at Jacana Lodge, proceed for a game drive through the remote Ishasha sector in southern Queen Elizabeth, famous for tree climbing lions. Day 7: Ishasha Sector – Bwindi Impenetrable National Park: Have breakfast and take a morning game drive before connecting to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest; a home to 360 Mountain Gorillas-Half of the remaining world total population. We shall climb out of the Rift Valley at first, and then travel through the Kigezi Highlands of South-Western Uganda. The scenery gets increasingly breathtaking as we switchback up and down the hills. After dinner at Gorillas resort / Buhoma Homesteads, we retire for the night, lulled to sleep by the sounds of one of Africa’s most incredible natural environments.
Day 8: Bwindi Gorilla Tracking Adventure : Today’s activities may be amongst the most exciting and challenging of our entire expedition. The gorillas are by no means tame, and are completely wild animals. However, experienced guides will accompany us on our tracking, many of who have been involved in the habituation process themselves. The guides will use their knowledge of the gorillas’ habits and information from the previous day to locate the group’s whereabouts. This is one of the world’s truly memorable experiences a look into one of these magnificent creatures’ eyes brings home the bond that exists between them and us. Day 9: Transfer to Rwanda; Land of thousand majestic Hills: Today we drive south over the border to Rwanda, head to Volcanoes National park; another home of Gorillas where we will check in Gorillas Nest lodge/Kinigi Guest House/Sabyinyo Silverback Lodge. Enjoy the scenery as we drive down through south western Uganda and come into sight of the dramatic Virunga volcanic peaks.
Day 10: Rwanda Gorillas in the Mist : This is another day for the second honey moon gorilla trek in the Virungas. Coming across these amiable primates in the foothills of the dramatic Virunga Volcanoes is another life changing experience; sitting amongst them you recognize the similarities between us and them and it is a struggle to tear yourself away from your new family once the hour is up. All meals at your lodge in extreme comfort.

Day 11-12: Kigali City Tour-Honeymoon leisure in Intercontinental Hotel: Early breakfast at the Lodge, start a picnic drive to Kigali; Rwanda’s capital. The journey continues through the rolling hills which characterize most of Rwanda. 2 nights stay at Intercontinental Hotel, Kigali; a comfortable western style hotel located in central Kigali. Day 14: Departure: Depending on your scheduled flight, you will be transferred to Kigali Airport for your on-ward flight.
